New Bern Union Point Park​,​ NC

Located 24.1 StM off the ICW at the confluence of the Neuse and Trent Rivers in New Bern the 6 acre park with restrooms, picnic table, grills, and playground within easy walking distance to the Historic District with restaurants and shopping venues. Docks are available on a first come, first served basis for day use up to 4 hours only. Overnight docking is not permitted. ICW Contributor Janice and Steve reported that there are three finger docks available.

Foster Hughes, Director of Parks & Recreation, reported to ICW Free Docks on 01/24/19 that the docks remain closed due to damage from Hurricane Florence and are being rebuilt. He anticipates reopening in the late summer or early fall of 2019. This listing will be updated when new information is available.
