18.5 StM (Alternate Route) Dismal Swamp Canal Douglas Road Landing, VA – 100’ free dock. There is a restroom, but also reports of it being often closed for lack of water. Caution should be exercised setting fender due to large bolts that protrude out from the pilings. Closed road adjacent to the dock provides miles of easy bike riding and walking.
