738.5 StM – Located 16 StM off the ICW, The Jacksonville Landings is located directly on the Riverwalk and is home to festivals, entertainment and many shops and restaurants and offers over 800’ of free docking for visitors by boat. Maximum length of stay is 72 hours in a 30 day period except during special events. No open flames are allowed on docked boats. The Landings often hosts special events, so it is recommended that cruisers review the schedule on their web site before making plans to dock there. The docks at The Jacksonville Landings were heavily damaged by Hurricane Irma in 2017.
Per Captain Jim Suber, the dockmaster for the City of Jacksonville, the docks at The Landings will be reopened on 10/26/18 on a limited basis, between Benny’s and the Main Street Bridge. Also, Captain Suber informed ICW FREE DOCKS that the City is completing the design and permitting to replace The Landings with all new docks and he anticipates that the bid will go out in the spring of 2019. Per ICW Free Docks contributor sv Mylady on 07/11/19 the docks are completely out of order and closed. Furthermore, no one was responsive at the contact numbers listed. ICW Free Docks is investigating and will update this listing as soon as information is received.
